6 October

We received a lovely Thank You certificate from the Murray Farm Public School for the 2 quilts we donated earlier this year for their annual Cracker Carnival. The raffle, in which they were included as prizes, raised over $4,500.

Our group has been given a gift of of $100 from the Senior Citizens Club in whose premises we meet, towards our Christmas lunch.  A big thank you for that!

I have been alerted to the fact that email subscribers have not received an email when a post has been published.  on investigation, this is because Blogger has discontinued the link to RSSFeed.  If you are reading this post, and have noticed you are not receiving emails any more, please email me, and I will put you on the manual mailing list until a solution has been found.

Here are the lovely quilts which have been brought in this week.  As is often the case, there are some donated ones again.

This one was donated by the Mystic Mountains Quilters:

The next three were all from the Monday Quilters Group.  Aren't the animals on the first two just adorable!

This one featuring the lovely Toile fabric was donated by Sue from Friday Quilters.

We have attacked the kids' tubs in the stash cupboard and cut loads of 6" squares.  The next two "I spy" quilts are the result:

Bye for now, and thanks for visiting.
