Last Working Day for this Year

Our last working meeting for 2018 was held on 15th November.  11 of us turned up which was most of the members.  Plus Jan brought along a friend, Jeanette for a visit.  Despite a flat tyre on Pennant Hills Road, and a lengthy wait for assistance, Jeanette did enjoy herself.

Colleen, Evelyn, Cheryl and Jill will attend the Concord Senior Citizens Christmas Lunch on 3rd December to represent our group.

There are deliveries for Ronald McDonald House and Concord Hospital Palliative Care Unit to be made by Tuesday 20th November.

Bev made this gorgeous quilt.

And a pile of little flannel wraps.

Cheryl made the next 2 quilts

Jill made this quilt, which was quilted by Evelyn

And Evelyn also made this one

The next quilt was made by Lynn H from Shepparton.  It was quilted by Cheryl.

The little slippers at the rear of this next photo were made by Bev.  The rest of the items were made by Helen.

Helen also made these two shawls and the 3 flannel wraps.

This shawl was a donation from one of the parishioners at St Timothy & St Paul's, in Kincumber.  Helen put a border and a fringe on it, so it is ready to be donated.

Our next meeting will be a Christmas party.  So I expect there will be a quilt or two produced for the first meeting of 2019, since there is quite a long break.
