Autumn is Here

We had a surprise package arrive the other day.  The lovely ladies from Shepparton Quilters posted up a huge parcel of quilts. For those of you not in Australia, Shepparton is a large town in northern Victoria - that's about 8 hours drive south from our headquarters here.  If you are a regular visitor to this blog, you might remember they were kind enough to donate some quilts a couple of years ago.

Here is the donation.

These first two are complete and were made by Greta R.

This one is all hand pieced.

The rest of the donation are tops only, and will have to be completed, so you'll see them as they are done.

Our Crochet Queen has been busy and there was a pile of lovely warm shawls, blankets and scarves, and snuggly flannel wraps for babies brought in today.  These will come in handy with the cooler weather coming.

And here are the rest of the quilts made by our members.

I think someone has been having fun emptying the purple stash!

And the blues too!

That's it for now.  Thanks for visiting.
