3rd May

Our last meeting was short and sweet.  With 4 people overseas and 3 away with medical issues, we were a very small band indeed!

Most of the discussion was about wadding.  A perennial issue as we go through so much of it!  So we are always on the lookout for decent, economical wadding.

Since our last meeting, we delivered 14 quilts to Life Without Barriers.  This is an organisation supporting just over 14,000 people in more than 440 communities across Australia. They support children, young people and families, people with disability, older people and people with mental illness.

We were contacted a few weeks ago by a lovely lady in Wodonga, Victoria, in response to the article in Australian Patchwork & Quilting, who asked if we would like her to send us quilt tops.  Well three little cot quilt tops arrived!  You will see them shortly after they have been quilted and completed.  Thank you Daphne for your generous donation.  They will be well used I'm sure.

Here are the completed quilts brought in.  Enjoy.....
