As usual our first meeting of the year was huge. There were 35 completed quilts brought in. Also a large bundle of crocheted items and some adorable booties.
We donated the money we had collected in our Piggy Bank in the second half of last year to Parkinson's Australia. We like to change up the charity we support each year, and this was suggested by a couple of our members.
Also during the summer holiday period we bought in quite a few rolls of wadding, so we will be set for that for a couple of months.
Here are the quilts that came this time. Lots are scrappy quilts (my favourites LOL).
That's the end of the quilts. And here are all the lovely knits and crocheted items. Just look at that cute duck.
What a truck load of treasures. I remember those big tulips. (I need to make some more. They are fun.) I love the purple one with the pictures in a 9-patch style except there is a picture missing and you see the background. Lol. That is just too cute. Great design! Some demanded a lot of time like all those tiny little squares and string quilts. Love the one with the hexie flowers and the red and grey one. Wonderful work to all and the knitters and crocheteers too. Bravo! ;^)
